2. Book Your Theory Test

3. Hit the Books and Study Ahead of Time
To have a higher chance of passing the test, you need to study more and read the Highway Code thoroughly. The DVSA (Driving Standards Agency) also offers a theory test handbook which is packed full of useful tips and examples of multiple-choice questions. In the theory test, there will be 50 multiple choice questions and you will need to get at least 43 correct answers to pass.
4. Take a Course and Practice Hazard Perception and Mock Tests
Study materials and courses are two great ways to prepare for your upcoming theory test. They help to understand the subjects that can sometimes be boringly explained in the Highway Code.

And remember to practise your hazard perception. You need to get a minimum of 44 out of 75 on the hazard perception test to pass.
In the real test you will have 57 minutes to answer the 50 questions, so practise answering the question under pressure by asking friends and family to quiz you.
